My Bug List, May None of These Things Ever Happen Again

   1. When the fast food restaurant PDQ forgets to put your fries in the bag even though you ordered a combo meal.

An employee from PDQ creates this bug by just one little mistake.

    2. When you are pumped up and excited for the first UF football game of the year and it gets rained out. 

      This was a result from mother nature being relentless, the only thing to do was try to enjoy the moment

   3. When people show up to a crowded lecture hall, save a seat for their friend, and the friend never shows up.

           

      This annoys me because there are people sitting on the floor and that   need the extra seat but the friend never shows up.

   4. When you travel home to visit and have to re-enter your Wi-Fi code at your own house even though you have done it fifty times.

                        

For some reason my router at home doesn’t remember me.

   5. When your friends tell you they are on “on their way!” even though they are still getting ready.

                        

Time is precious, late people annoy me but lying late people really bug me.

   6. When you are hanging around a group of friends and you tell a joke and no one hears you, but then someone else uses your joke and everyone laughs.

                        

This bugs me because I deserve the credit for making everyone laugh.

   7. When you go to Chick-Fil-A and you are one person off from being the 100^th customer.

                        

This bugs me because it always seems to happen to me and I am so close every time.

   8. When your roommates let the trash pile up in the garbage can until it is as tall as you are.

                        

This bugs me because it is not my responsibility to take the trash out every time.

   9. When you just wake up on a Sunday morning and someone calls you and asks you a million questions.

                        

This bugs me because I just woke up and I cant even process the question before they ask me another.

   10. When you drive down Archer on a weekday and you thought you left early enough to beat the traffic but you get stuck in the middle of it.

                        

I dislike traffic very much and Archer traffic is the worst.

   11. When you go over to someone else’s house and they have a ceiling fan that makes a horrible creaking sound.

                        

Either turn the fan off or fix it, I shouldn’t have to turn the TV on full volume just because your fan wont shut up.

   12. When people ride in your car and leave their empty drink bottles in the cup holders or on the floor of the passenger seat.

This bugs me because I just cleaned my car from my own empty bottles, I don’t need to clean up yours as well.

   13. When your grandparents get you the same mug every year for Christmas.

                        

This bugs me because its literally the same gift every year and you don’t want to say anything because their your grandparents.

   14. When people keep tapping their pencils during the final exam.

                        

This bugs me because there is absolute silence everywhere else in the room besides the kid right next to me playing Rock Band with his pencil.

   15. When you double knot your shoelaces but somehow they become untied eight times while you walk to class.

                        

This bugs me because I am constantly stopping to bend down to tie my shoe.

   16. When the weather app on your phone says 0% chance of rain but then after you get out of class it is pouring.

                        

I know I should always have an umbrella in Gainesville but c’mon now, give me some heads up. You have one job weather app.

   17. When you are driving around campus and people drop their friends off in the middle of the road.

                       

This bugs me because it is dangerous and builds up a pile of cars on the road.

1 18. When your roommate lets the dishes pile up in the sink but then questions why the kitchen smells.

                        

This bugs me because the answer to my roommates question is staring him in the face.

1 19. When you are on two-hour flight and a baby is in the row behind you crying the whole duration of the flight.

This bugs me because it is just unlucky, no one is doing anything wrong, it just sucks.

    20. When your flight gets delayed for half an hour, then one hour, then two hours, then it finally gets cancelled.   

      This bugs me because I like being told straight up what is happening, if the flight is going to get cancelled just come out right away and tell me. 

I found this experience very challenging. I see myself as a very laid back person (even though my list contradicts that) so it was tough for me to think of twenty things that bug me. To help me think of twenty “bugs” I played in my mind over and over again the last few days of the week and tried to think of certain circumstances or situations that bugged me. I would say the first six or seven bugs were easy to think of but then it got increasingly difficult. I think it is a good thing that it was hard for me to think of several situations that bugged me. As an entrepreneur I can now understand what could possibly bug my future customers, employees, and associates that I might have.

            All in all, I thought this exercise was a lot of fun. Just thinking about all of my bugs and writing them down made me laugh and cringe at the same time.
