The coolest encounter I have had with an entrepreneur has to
be the brief meeting I had with Wayne Huizenga. Mr.Huizenga or Mr.H is the
perfect defection of an entrepreneur. When Huizenga was a kid, he joined his father’s
business and continued to collect the garbage around his neighborhood with one
single garbage truck. Eventually, he grew that business into Waste Management Inc.
Mr.Huizengaa is also responsible for the rise of Blockbuster and AutoNation. Both
of which he bought and developed into the powerhouses they are and in the case
of blockbuster, once were. Although my meeting with Mr.H was brief, I learned a
lot. The first thing you notice about Mr.H is the way he carriers himself. He
has a magnificent amount of self-confidence but he is not cocky. The main take
away I had from our meeting was his attitudes about success. He treated success
as routine. When he had one successful business or outcome he did not become
complacent, he kept striving for more success. This attitude is the attitude I
believe all entrepreneurs should have and it is a great lesson to be learned
from Mr.H.
I enrolled
in ENT3003 to better myself as a future businessperson. I believe that I need
to work on some of my skills such as communication and self-belief and I am
hoping this class can help me with that. Also, I am unsure about my future
career and what I want to do so I am hoping this class can help me figure that
out.

Evening Mason! Your Entrepreneur story is really neat! Meeting entrepreneurs and just listening to them can teach us so much. I have had a similar experience, except that the person in question is my best friend. You are correct with that mindset idea. It's all in our execution and then building upon success with more success;Building momentum isn't always the hardest part, its keeping that momentum.
