Wazzup guys! My name is Mason Dancer and I am from Sarasota,
Florida. I have lived in Florida my whole life so this cold weather we are
going through is really getting to me. I am a Sport Management Major in my
second year. Ever since I was young, sports have always been a large part of my
life so it only made sense to pursue a career in sports. To be honest, I am
unsure what I want to do as my career. At first, I wanted to be a teacher, next
it was a financial advisor, now maybe an athletic director but who knows. I am
hoping this class helps me figure that out!
I have only
been outside of the country a handful of times. My greatest experience was traveling
to Costa Rica with my family. It was a beautiful country with amazing people,
landscapes, and food. I am so blessed to have an awesome family. I have one
brother who is currently a senior enrolled here at UF and is studying Sport
management as well. My mother played college tennis at UCF and became an
elementary school teacher. My father also played college tennis at Eastern
Michigan University.
